The Cerretale Centre Horse is situated in the south of Tuscany, nestled in the amazing hills of the Siena area, in a particularly exclusive geographical position. Effectively, our Agritourism (situated on the slopes of the Amiata Mountain) is no more than 100 Kms far from the most important cities of central Italy such as Rome, Florence, Siena and Perugia. This setting also benefit of a significant position duality; on one side the Mountain just 10 Km away from us, on the other 60 Km far away the sea. And don’t forget the numberless medieval towns, so typical of Toscana, spread all around such as Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza.
About the Amiata Mountain
Ancient volcano covered with beech woods to the top, 1740 mt above sea-level. Known since the Etruscan period for its cinnabar mines, it is always considered a perfect destination for holiday time, either in the winter season for its skiing establishments, or in summer time, for the umbrageous and breezy woodlands and its inviolate nature, so suggestive and full of life.
